AeroDNS

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: February 10, 2026

VMCSoft ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how AeroDNS: Quick DNS Changer (the "App") collects, uses, and discloses information.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. The Android VpnService & Data Handling

The core functionality of AeroDNS relies on the Android VpnService. It is crucial for you to understand how this works:

  • Local Tunneling Only: The App creates a local VPN interface on your device to intercept only DNS queries (typically on port 53).
  • No Remote Server: Unlike traditional VPN apps, we do not route your internet traffic (web browsing, video streaming, downloads) through any remote server owned by VMCSoft.
  • Split Tunneling: The App uses a "Split Tunneling" mechanism. Only DNS packets are processed; all other data traffic bypasses the VPN interface and goes directly through your ISP or WiFi network.
  • No Data Collection: We do not collect, store, log, or transmit your personal data, browsing history, or DNS queries to our servers. All DNS processing logic happens locally on your device.

2. Information Collection and Use

A. Personal Information

We do not collect any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, or location data. The App functions entirely without a user account.

B. DNS Queries

Your DNS queries are sent directly from your device to the DNS Provider you select within the App (e.g., Google DNS, Cloudflare, or a custom server).

  • We (VMCSoft): Do not see or log these queries.
  • DNS Providers: The third-party DNS resolver you choose may log your queries according to their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of your selected DNS provider (e.g., Google Privacy Policy, Cloudflare Privacy Policy).

C. Technical Data & Crash Logs

The App may use standard Android diagnostic tools (provided by the Google Play Store) to report crash logs. These logs are anonymized and help us fix bugs. They may contain information such as:

  • Device model and manufacturer.
  • Operating system version.
  • Stack trace of the crash.

3. Third-Party Services

The App does not contain third-party advertisements or analytics SDKs that track user behavior across other apps and websites.

4. Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, since the App operates locally and does not transmit personal data to us, the security of your data largely depends on the security of your device and the DNS provider you trust.

5. Children’s Privacy

Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
